Meal Plan + I Get Around

You may notice that some of this week’s meal plan looks awfully familiar. That’s because when I was making last week’s plan I forgot The Man and one of the Small Humans would be gone all week. It was way too quite around here and I barely cooked at all. Which means we’re recycling. Roll with the punches, people. Roll with the punches.

Of course, if you’re dying to know what else we’ve been eating (or were supposed to eat, but didn’t), they’re right here.

I’ve been getting around lately. I try to do that as much as possible, really, but am not always successful. If you’re looking for some food and ag commentary I got you covered. A few things I’ve written lately:

EPA Considers Ethanol Waiver: Too Little, Too Late? at The Broad Side

Presidential Food Politics also at The Broad Side | If you’re wondering where both Mitt and Barry stand when it comes to food and ag policy I’d highly recommend clicking this link. There are PDFs with answers from both camps, and who doesn’t like a good PDF?

Preserving the Bounty: Relish & Chutney at BlogHer | Wondering what to do with those last few weeks worth of garden produce? Mix ‘em up and make relishes and chutneys.

8 Things I Bet You Didn’t Know About Ethiopian Agriculture at ONE.org | If you didn’t catch my post about educating myself on Ethiopian Ag ahead of next month’s trip (18 days!), it was featured over at ONE. Check it out!
